Later on, He shares many details to him in order to help him to investigate the case properly. He further tells Byomkesh that he is addicted to alcohol and can’t survive without it. Eventually, Satyakam Got MurderedHere since Byomkesh reached Mussoorie, he feels that Satyakam’s life is really in danger as he sense that many people are behind Satyakam’s life hence he feels that the case is becoming difficult but he doesn’t show his bothering about the case and behave very normally with everyone and pretends that he will soon catch the culprit. And both the ladies are well aware of Satyakam’s frivolous nature still they are in madly love with him. Moreover, he comes to know that not only Chumki but Pandey Ji’s daughter played by Bibriti Chatterjee who is cabaret dancer by profession is also in deep love with Satyakam. But on the other hand, Sitanushu’s younger sister named Chumki played by Sauraseni Mitra is madly in love with Satyakam.
Will Byomkesh reach to the murderer and solve the case? now the story revolves around this. But Byomkesh does not care about this and continues his investigation. And he finds that everyone is trying to protect the murderer and the culprit of Sartakam’s murder. During the investigation, Byomkesh is getting several warning and threats from many people to stop the investigation there only and go back from Mussoorie.
The character of Satyakaam has been overdone. Rahul in the role of Ajit is a complete misfit. Visuals in some places are quite good.
I found the casting to be incredible. It seemed to be a waste of time and money to me.However, the vintage cars and beautiful scenery of Missouri are the only good things about this movie. Though Abir and Anjan Dutta tried their best, the acting in the role of other characters was below-average.
The background music reflects the knowledge base of a supreme classical musician. Adding equally to its glory is the brilliant music direction by the genius that is Mr. It is a film worth every penny.
